Video Blog Introduction

Since I can't actually afford to hire a public relations team to promote How To Lose Your Voice Without Screaming I'm playing with the idea of creating a video blog component here on Blogger. Watch the video and let me know your thoughts. Please be kind.

...What kind of reader reads How To Lose Your Voice Without Screaming?

Are you a member of this select group, I like to call, the 'In Crowd'?

If you haven't had a chance read the Prologue to How To Lose Your Voice Without Screaming, it's still free. Later though it'll probably cost a fortune. Like $200 a copy since I'm thinking of releasing it only as a coffee table book, which is super rare in an e-book!

Alistair - I like the narration. I get it. It's draws me in. I believe however you could do a few simple things visually - a collage of images over which you speak.

I also like the music - that works well.

Truth be told the first thing that popped into my mind was you being Alistair of Arabia in some windswept, place with music and voice over narration.

Great stuff Al, I actually did get there while looking for pictures or videos of attractive, naked women (making love to each other without inhibition) so the video felt like it was talking to me, in a creepy kinda freaky Friday type way.

Afonso, Great i idea! The next post I'll try to do from atop a sand dune. If possible I'll coordinate a reading from the first chapter of the book with some goats, and a troupe of my bedouin brothers.

As you suggest, I may also try more sophisticated editing. It was really fun to put this together. I used the computer camera, wrote some copy and put it into a teleprompter app on my tablet.
