I have mixed feelings about talent contests - especially when there is a fee - but have just entered (the 2nd edition of) my first novel How To Lose Your Voice Without Screaming into one:
The Montegrappa First Fiction Competition 2015 at the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature.
I guess it couldn't hurt to ask you to cross your fingers.
Just do not do it while operating heavy machinery.
